I’ve just finished my first tube and swiftly secured another just yesterday.

Does the jingle “Vicco turmeric, nahi cosmetic” ring a bell? It’s rather spot on in capturing the essence of this marvellous cream. Just a month ago, I traded my pricey Dermalogica tinted moisturiser for this trusted elixir.

A bit about me – I’ve been blessed with a sensitive, oily complexion that’s no stranger to the odd breakout and pesky enlarged pores. Stick around to discover how this cream has been my fairy godmother in a tube.

Diving into My Experience with the Vicco Turmeric Skin Cream:

After a refreshing face wash, this cream is what I reach for. Initially, I found myself using it religiously both morning and night. However, as I began noticing improvements in my skin’s texture and tone, I began to alternate between this and Lacto Calamine.

The value for money at 125 INR is astonishing, especially given the ample quantity provided. Its texture mirrors that of a robust cold cream but, rest assured, it’s light as a feather upon application.

Upon the very first use, I was smitten with its ability to bestow a matte finish that seemed to evolve over the day, making my skin feel velvety to the touch. Before long, I recognised a diminishing of my skin’s pigmentation. My complexion began radiating a more uniform hue, rectifying the disparity in tone between my face and neck. Besides discouraging the arrival of new pimples, it’s been an ally in fading scars and combating blackheads.

On the odd occasion of a brewing pimple, I did feel a slight sting. Hence, I opted for Lacto Calamine for targeted treatment. Admittedly, after a month of usage, its prowess seems to have mellowed just a tad. Perhaps my skin has grown accustomed, signalling a time for a wee change in my regimen.

Aesthetics and Aroma:

It’s packaged simply and efficiently in a tube, sporting a golden-yellow hue. A word to the wise: if pairing with haldi-besan, consider an evening application to avoid any staining.
